Christopher Rababy, REALTOR®

Hi, I’m Christopher Rababy. I was raised in a military family. We moved every two years, and moving became second nature to me, so much so that I actually began to like it. I enjoyed the new people, the new surroundings, packing, purging and the uncertainty. It became fun and exciting!

I’ve lived on the beaches of both coasts and overseas. I grew up surfing, kiteboarding and stand-up paddleboard racing. I have always loved traveling, but Virginia was always home. I got a degree in Nuclear Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007. I started my first real job at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where I worked for the next seven years. This is also where I met the girl of my dreams, got married and had our first child, a beautiful daughter.

After she was born, we packed up and headed back to Virginia where I helped start up a PET/CT lab for an Oncology department in Lynchburg. We welcomed another beautiful daughter, and then shortly after, we moved to Savannah, Georgia to live on the beach again. After a short while, I was offered a Lead Nuclear Medicine Job with the University of Virginia Health System where I would later become the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist of the Cardiology Stress Lab. At this point in my life, we now had four daughters, and I was craving a way of life that would give me more freedom and allow me more time with my family.

That is when I switched gears and got into real estate, which surprisingly is not that much different from healthcare. It is about listening to customers’ needs and wants and looking out for their best interests. At times, being that voice of reassurance and guiding them through times that can be unpleasant and stressful. I do not push people into making a decision, but I will do everything I can to help them make the decision that is best for them. All of which I bring with me as your real estate agent, which I thoroughly enjoy. Give me a call today and let’s discuss how I can help you find the home of your dreams!
